Primark Dupes

Today I popped in to Penneys after work and I instantly fell in love with these floral embroidered mules. I grabbed them straight away because I know that they will be sold out so quickly as they are such an obvious dupe for Gucci’s iconic pair, but for only a fraction of the cost.

Looking at the two pairs together I actually can not believe how similar they are and with the Primark version only setting me back €16 compared to Gucci’s €650 price tag!

But of course so many other shops have been copying Gucci’s style recently and have been selling their own version of the shoe. River Island’s black floral loafers are currently in store for €43, but I do think the Primark version is closer to the original design, and obviously much cheaper.

Although, I will say that the River Island one are of a much higher quality, meaning they will probably be more comfortable and last a lot longer. But, for a trend that I will probably only be wearing in Summer and early Autumn, the Primark version is perfect.

I will definitely be wearing these with jeans and even dresses or playsuits on warmer days. I would definitely have a look in your nearest Penneys/Primark and try and find them before they sell out!

Thanks for reading,

  1. I’m dying to get my hands on the Gucci pair, but my car has decided that its time for its insurance, MOT, tax and both wheels to pop, so Gucci is off the cards for me! Definitely will be picking these up instead! x
